Baix Empordà - Gastronomic Tour
First of all we will visit the Jam Museum at Torrent to taste and discover the thousand ways of making home made jams.
Then we will go to the “Mas Oller” winery in Torrent or “Can Sais Cellar” at Vall-llobrega depending of availability. We will take a walk in the vineyards and their expert wil explain about the different types of grapes and how they make their wines.
Followed by a wine tasting
Lunch at “Can Quel” in Foixà, one of the most traditional restaurants of the Baix Empordà, where bread is still made wood burning ovens, like old days
Fixed Menu.
Visit to the “Formatgeria Nuri”, in Ullastret where they wil explain their ways of making both, normal and cottage cheeses.
Visit to “Vins i licors Grau”, one of the biggest cellars in Europe, with more than 8.000 different wines.
Their experts will explain everything we want to know about any of their wines.
